Hi all! I hope you are all very excited to see that I am finally updating my blog!! I have the flu (not the pig one I hope!!) and am at home for the day. Don't quite know what to do with myself. The kids are both at school and I'm home alone, trying to rest my voice but coughing constantly!! I am actually attempting to do my Mum's 50th album, which I had promised for Mother's Day. Gosh, that's come up quick!!
Our little family has been very busy lately, but thought I'd post some info on what we've been up to! Our most recent fun was heading off to Australia Zoo at the end of the holidays. Caitlyn got to be a zookeeper for the day and had a ball! Abbie and I spent the day walking around enjoying the zoo. A fantastic day that I will have to scrap soon!
I spent some time leading up to Easter having a go at making a few items. I loved Deb's chickens and here are mine! I had to put initials on the pockets to prevent fights! The kids really liked them.
I have also been busy making a few craft items. I made these bottles for my Mum and sister for Easter. I decided to do the bottles, then saw Better Homes and Gardens using cellophane to layer the chocolates, so used that idea too.
