Hi all! Well, another long weekend, hooray! Once again, just preparing for term 3 and 4! I'm off to Blossie's tomorrow for their "retro crop" from 12noon to 12 midnight with my Mum and Vicki. I can't wait! Have lined up a number of birthday and mother's day cards and also a few recent photos to create some pages. I think I'll also add a canvas I have in mind for a family member...
I am organising Eclipse tickets..sorry to seem slack but I feel really exhausted despite the long weekends! Oh well, now to press on, go to bed early and to book Eclipse tomorrow am! Will email you all as soon as I have a session time! Should be awesome! I've been watching New Moon on blue ray, it looks amazing!
Missing catching friends on a regular basis! Will hopefully have some new creations to share after tomorrow. xxx

Netball begins....
Well, we had a very exciting morning! The girls started netball! Abbie is doing "Net, Set, Go" which is a beginners intro to netball. They play lots of games introducing the skills they use to play. Caitlyn was a little old for this, so she now plays for the Brothers U9s team!
We turned up this morning and sorted out uniforms and registration. Of course, as I went to take a photo of them both in their uniforms, my camera batteries died!!!!! ARGHHH!! So, next time they play (in 2 weeks), I will be sure to have those darn batteries charged to the brim!!!
Caitlyn was with her coach and team for 1/2 hour to warm up. She then watched from the sidelines for the first half and went on for the last half. She was the WD and I was so proud of her! She caught and threw a lot of balls. Lots of stepping was done, but they were very "relaxed" on that for her as she's never played before! She just LOVED it!!! She did so well, considering training this week was rained out!
Abbie, on the other hand, spent the first 20 minutes crying and saying she didn't want to join in. So after a lot of coaxing I took the court with her and eventually handed her over to the coach. 5 mins later she was bursting to participate in everything! Thank goodness!!!
It was such a great morning. Both girls play 9-10am, so that means that I've enlisted my Mum to help me have both girls watched! Thanks Mum!
As soon as the next game is played, I'll post photos of my girls. Gosh, I don't think I stopped smiling all morning! Very proud Mummy!
I love 3 day weekends!! Bring on the next two weekends and term 3/4!!!

Not long enough....
Hmm...when teachers read this post I wonder if they know to what I am refering??? The holidays, of course!! A week just doesn't cut it! I still have a list a mile long and so much more I'd love to do with my babies before we go back to school. Oh well, I am thankful for the time I've had and packed it full of catch ups with friends, tea parties, shopping, parks and lots of other adventures!
I am heading back to work with a positive outlook, but nervous about what the term will bring. I am happy not to do report cards and look forward to continuing observations over the next 11 weeks!
I hope you have all had a great break and I hope to get to blogging at some stage through the term! Take care all!

Hooray for holidays!
Holidays are here and I'm so happy! Last night I went to Debbie's place for a wonderful dinner and chat. Getting home at 1.30am has left me a little weiry, but it was worth it! Wish we could all catch up more often!
Well, the end of this week was crazy! I spent time buying and making gifts for friends, family and teachers (plastic champaigne glasses, filled with shredded paper and cadbury chocolates)! Here are my little gifts for the girl's teachers and a few prep friends at work and Deb's b'day card. Wednesday night finished at 11.30pm!
Abbie had her easter hat parade on Thursday. I was upset to miss it, but Sharryn was able to go and watch for me. Then they had an afternoon tea in her classroom. I was so happy to receive an email from a parent in Abbie's class with photos attached of Abbie! I was so excited to see them, but it still upset me that I missed another school event for her. Oh well, I guess I have 10 days to make up for it! Bring on 4 days a week at work....
I hope you all have a fab start to the hols and I look forward to reading your blogs over the break!
